For improved efficiency and safety at sea, the VisionMaster FT Chart Radar from the ARPA Series integrates basic electronic charting with the full radar functionality. The Chart Radar displays official ENC vector-format charts, integrated with the radar picture. For ease of use, the density of displayed ENC chart information is completely selectable, from a simplified presentation of shoreline to a fully detailed display. The Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine Chart Radar additionally increases the efficiency during watch keeping by displaying charts parallel to the Radar image.

From Chart Radar to TotalWatch

The standard user interface of the VisionMaster FT series makes it easy to upgrade from Chart Radar to ECDIS or multifunctional workstation, the TotalWatch. Using the same interface throughout the marine radar series promotes efficient operation and minimized training for the operator.
